Giannis Arnaoutis is a Post-doc student of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics of Harokopio University. He has obtained his Bachelor degree on Physical Education on 2003 and his Master degree on Applied Nutrition and Dietetics (Sports Nutrition) on 2006, by the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, of Harokopio University, Athens, Greece. A year later he has been accepted for PhD studies on the “Effects of hydration status on cardiovascular function and athletic performance”. He obtained his PhD on 2012. He has numerous publications in international peer-reviewed journals, 2 book chapters, 14 presentations (4 oral, 10 posters) at international and 2 presentations at national scientific meetings.
Also in 2012 he received the 1st Young Researcher Award in the Hydration for Health Congress for his project: “The Effect of Hydration Status on Endothelium Function”. Currently he is a research assistant in the Department of Nutrition & Dietetics, in the modules of graduate and post-graduate studies (2008).
