Manolis Myriokefalitakis MD, MSc
Τhe Orthopaedic Surgeon Myriokefalitakis Manolis was born in Peristeri in 1975 where he graduated from the 4th Lyceum of Peristeri.
He studied medicine at medical school of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki whereas he earned his Bachelor of Science at 2000. He completed his rural service in PI Bralos and Health Center of Amfikleia.
The following two years he worked for a private diagnostic center section at CT scan and MRI.
He specialized in Orthopaedic Surgery at the General Hospital of Athens "G. Genimatas " with special emphasis on traumatology, hip joints and arthroscopic surgery. He trained for one year in Orthopaedics at Children's Hospital of Athens "P. and A. Kyriakou ".
In 2006 he earned his Master degree in "Healthcare Management" at School of Social Sciences in Open University of Greece. His titled thesis focused on the effect of LBP in the quality of patients’ life.
He has participated in 96 Greek Conferences, Seminars, Workshops and 20 times at International Conferences and Seminars. He has 113 oral or poster presentation in Greek and International conferences and 38 publications in Greek and International journals.
In the years 2004-2006 he was professor in paramedical courses at Institute of Vocational Training at Peristeri, Haidari, Acharnon and Korydallos. In years 2009-2010 he was partner physician in women's basketball team of Hesperides.
From September 2011 until today Mr. Myriokefalitakis is the doctor of Olympiakos men's Basketball Team (European and Greek Championship at 2012, European Championship at 2013, Intercontinental Cup at 2013).
Since November 2011 he is a private practice physician in Peristeri. He is also associate doctor at Central Clinic of Athens and Medical Center at Peristeri.
